Tim and Kate Jackson
Campus Ministers at LHU
Tim and Kate Jackson are adventure-loving folks from the rolling hills of northern Ohio. The two met during their undergraduate studies at Kentucky Christian University in the spring of 2013. After graduating from college that May, Kate spent three months doing mission work in Africa and then moved to Bangkok, Thailand to join an anti-human-trafficking organization called NightLight International. Tim and Kate kept in touch via e-mail, and the couple began dating after Tim flew to Thailand to ask Kate out for a date (she said yes!). Kate returned to the States in April 2015, and that August Tim proposed to her (she said yes again!). The two were married the following December.
Tim graduated from KCU with a degree in Bible and Ministry in May 2016 and Kate completed her graduate studies in Intercultural Community Development through Johnson University that August. They started out as campus ministers with LHU the following fall! Tim loves the color purple, chocolate, and reading old books. Kate loves social justice, playing with puppies, and Twinings Earl Grey Tea. The couple shares a passion for lifting up Jesus Christ and changing the world. Tim and Kate believe that by helping college students become Christ-pursuing world-changers, they can have a larger impact from a college campus than just about anywhere else in the world. They are excited to be a part of God’s work through CSF as campus ministers at Lock Haven University!
